As a class we chose to push the project toward creating our own class conspiracy theory and make the school believe what we wanted them to. This was my group's pitch idea, a story on how our own school was corrupt. We knew that our story had to be crazy to catch someones attention but not crazy enough for them to immediately deny it. As we wrote our story we would come up with more ideas and what pieces of evidence we could make up to prove our theory to be true.
My story so far
Eventually my classmates realized that doing a project like this carried too much uncertainty along with it. If the stories did not work, we wouldn't have had an end product. Many students visualized the project going in a different direction than they had originally imagined and were no longer on board with the end product.
I expressed these concerns with my peers and with my teacher on a shared document and together we decided to shift toward a different topic but with a similar goal.
