The three drafts that my Position Paper went through were all drastically different. They all increased in expanding and making Italy's ideas more clear and direct for my chair and delegates to understand. Two helpful pieces of critique I received were to talk more about Italy's receiving of refugees and to fix my Works Cited. This advice was given to me by my peers and helped me make a final draft I am proud of. Fixing the Works Cited showed me how to organize and where to place that information, knowledge I will inevitably use in the future, and by focusing more on how the Syrian crisis effects Italy vs heavily describing my solution ideas inclined me to have a more open mind during MUN and get on board with multiple solutions written by my committee.
I am most proud of the amount of statistics and facts that my Position Paper has. Strategically using evidence to support my arguments was a difficult thing to do, let alone finding the facts that would work in my country's favor.
